Hi Liviu
      drivers/gpu/drm/i2c/tda998x_drv.c do the same things:
             priv->connector.encoder = &priv->encoder;
drm_mode_connector_attach_encoder(&priv->connector, &priv->encoder);

      I believe must be same problem.
