Subject: [PATCH V2] regulator: pv88090: new regulator driver
From: James Ban <James.Ban.opensource@...semi.com>
This is the driver for the Powerventure PV88090 BUCKs and LDOs regulator.
It communicates via an I2C bus to the device.
Signed-off-by: James Ban <James.Ban.opensource@...semi.com>
---
Changes since PATCH V1
- Removed owner field if calls are used which set it automatically.
- Removed unneeded semicolon.
- Removed parsing the DT manually.
- Removed setting the constraints in driver.
- Removed printing an error after parsing dt.
- Added operation for range of buck voltage.
- Rebased on next-20151207
This patch applies against linux-next and next-20151207

+* Powerventure Semiconductor PV88090 Voltage Regulator
+
+Required properties:
+- compatible: "pvs,pv88090".
+- reg: I2C slave address, usually 0x48.
+- interrupts: the interrupt outputs of the controller
+- regulators: A node that houses a sub-node for each regulator within the
+ device. Each sub-node is identified using the node's name, with valid
+ values listed below. The content of each sub-node is defined by the
+ standard binding for regulators; see regulator.txt.
+ BUCK1, BUCK2, BUCK3, LDO1, and LDO2.
