And for me powerpc allmodconfig with:

I think this is outside my boundary for any attempt to fix. Maybe with
some suggestion/guidance I can try. 

Apart from powerpc:allmodconfig:
m32r:allmodconfig
tilegx:allmodconfig
tilepro:allmodconfig

These three are for the same problem as in drm/vc4 which you mentioned.
