Well, if you replace the traditional flow

err = -XXXX;
if (test)
     goto out;

Then please add unlikely() to at least give a hint to the compiler.

if (unlikely(test)) {
    err = -XXX;
    goto out;
}

And please add a 'Fixes: .... ' tag for bug fixes.
