I'm also confused, I think it's related the data layout by gcc. I was using gcc 4.8. 
(gcc version 4.8.3 20140911 (Red Hat 4.8.3-9). where the -6553x falls to is uncertain
in bin by different gcc I guess? I tried to make a kdump, but i failed to make it work.
