same here: Didn't test, but looking at the patch, it looks OK.

One suggestion: later when my "generic way to build only sphinx sub-folders"
patch ...

... is acked and merge, it might be better to place the latex_document
option into a gpu/conf.py ?

I haven't thought this to the end, just an idea.
