4.9-rc7 same as 4.7.10 it locks up so quickly and thorougly nothing ends
up anywhere. All I get is some graphical distortion in form of a
colourful line in the top third of the screen (which is true for all
kernels tried so far).

Oh and 4.7 and 4.9 - sysrq-keys don't work either.
