Xtensa may have either endianness and for xtensa we define CONFIG_CPU_BIG_ENDIAN or CONFIG_CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN in the arch/xtensa/Makefile based on the value of the compiler builtin macro. -- Thanks. -- Max
