Message-Id: <20171227164615.298926928@linuxfoundation.org> Date: Wed, 27 Dec 2017 17:46:03 +0100 From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@...uxfoundation.org> To: linux-kernel@...r.kernel.org Cc: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@...uxfoundation.org>, stable@...r.kernel.org, Thomas Gleixner <tglx@...utronix.de>, Andy Lutomirski <luto@...nel.org>, Borislav Petkov <bp@...en8.de>, Dave Hansen <dave.hansen@...ux.intel.com>, "H. If anyone has any objections, please let me know. ------------------ From: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@...utronix.de> commit 92a0f81d89571e3e8759366e050ee05cc545ef99 upstream. Put the cpu_entry_area into a separate P4D entry. The fixmap gets too big and 0-day already hit a case where the fixmap PTEs were cleared by cleanup_highmap(). Aside of that the fixmap API is a pain as it's all backwards.
