After updating from 4.4 to 4.14, I found that my 
ASUSTeK M5A99X EVO with an AMD FX(tm)-4300 was only showing 1 core
instead of 4.

I tracked it down to this bug:

Cherry-picking 2b85b3d22920db7473e5fed5719e7955c0ec323e applied
cleanly and all cores were then present

Could we have this patch included too, please.
