Shouldn't we also do this for other filesystems?  A quick scan suggests
someone should at least look at xfs, ubifs, squashfs, romfs, ocfs2,
nilfs2, hfsplus, f2fs, ext4, ext2, exofs, coda, cifs & btrfs.
