Using a warning here makes all kind of userspace tools jumpy
and IIUC all this is trying to tell us is that there are not
enough bits to track mappings reliably.

This was also reported here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100455

So can we convert it to a printk?
