Should be "<=" no? Otherwise pipe_size won't never reach the max value.
If it is equal, then it will get out of the loop and it's an error.

source_ved should never be NULL, otherwise its is a bug in one of the
submodules.

I think you could the following check (in case we don't trust the
submodules):
		if (!source_ved)
			break;

before incrementing the pipe_size.

which means that stream->ved_pipeline[] from [0] to
[stream->pipe_size-1] will never be NULL. And you won't need the check
you did in vimc_streamer_pipeline_terminate() and you won't need the "if
(!stream->ved_pipeline[stream->pipe_size-1])" either.
