Yay, more fbdev drivers moving to atmic!
Going on vacations for a week now, so just a few quick high-level comments
below. Those should make the driver even smaller and cleaner.

Embedding is kinda the new thing, since it also prevents people from using
devm_ for this, which is (strictly speaking, not that it matters much) the
wrong lifetime for drm allocations. There's some patches from Noralf that
should land soon to make this a bit more convenient.

Any reason you didn't opt for the drm_simple_display_pipe helpers? Since
you have just 1:1:1 between crtc/plane/encoder that will allow you to
ditch lots of boilerplate.
https://dri.freedesktop.org/docs/drm/gpu/drm-kms-helpers.html#simple-kms-helper-reference
> + struct drm_panel *panel;
> +

There's panel bridge helpers which takes a panel and wraps it into a
drm_bridge (which you can glue into the simple pipe helpers), giving you
the connector for free.
https://dri.freedesktop.org/docs/drm/gpu/drm-kms-helpers.html#panel-bridge-helper-reference
This should cover all the bigger items, details look already really tidy.
