In addition, an rcu_barrier() might return immediately if there happen to
be no callbacks posted at the time.  So if you need to wait for readers,
you need synchronize_rcu() -- rcu_barrier() is -not- a substitute.

So it really is OK to have rcu_barrier() followed by synchronize_rcu()
and vice versa.  ;-)
