Yep, now it builds:
/tmp/build/perf/perf: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, *unknown arch 0xc3* version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib/ld-linux-arc.so.2, for GNU/Linux 3.9.0, with debug_info, not stripped
