Ok, (compressed) patch attached. It applies cleanly on top of current mainline HEAD, so it should apply on top of your branch too. I'm sorry, but I couldn't test the patch thoroughly, because the current mainline kernel systematically corrupts the fs on my main test machine. If the patch does introduce unwanted crashes, I'll fix it.
