Subject: [PATCH 2/2] samples: make pidfd-metadata fail gracefully on older
 kernels

Initialize pidfd to an invalid descriptor, to fail gracefully on
those kernels that do not implement CLONE_PIDFD and leave pidfd
unchanged.
