why don't you use the mux framework for this? This looks a bit fishy
too. Why do you have your own driver registration structure for your

I could bet this doesn't work. You're entering test mode before status
stage. Make sure to run your driver against USB CV chapter 9 tests. You
can use g_zero for testing.

why do you need your own wrapper around dev_dbg()? This looks quite unnecessary.

I'll stop here and review more at a later moment. Now that I had a look,
this doesn't look ready for prime time yet.
