One advantage of having something like this is the possibility to
reference the backlight in DT. This means the system has an idea
how backlights are mapped. E.g.:

panelA {
    compatible = "random-panel";
    backlight = <&backlight1>;
}

panelB {
    compatible = "random-panel";
    backlight = <&backlight2>;
}
