Given you have explicitly mentioned this as a fix I haven't assumed it
was particularly urgent.

Hence applied to the togreg branch of iio.git and pushed out as testing.
If we want to request this being added to stable, we should do that after
it is in mainline after the next merge window.

If you need it faster, let me know and add a fixes tag.
