Subject: Power management on HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3

Hi,

my HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3
1. often refuses to suspend (I have to trigger it twice or more often)
2. often wakes up without any external trigger (lid opened / key
pressed)

Questions
i. What may be the reason for this strange behavior?
ii. How to investigate it? (I found nothing meaningful in syslog.)

I am running Debian 10.2 with GNOME on Xorg, if that's possibly
important.

Thanks for all hints, Christian

P.S.
In all my Lenovo ThinkPads I've had before, suspend / wake up was never
an issue.
