FYI: I no longer crash with v3 :-)

So that's a very good news.

I also tested dmabuf:

sudo modprobe vivid allocators=1
v4l2-ctl -d6 -i3 -v width=1920,height=1080,pixelformat=NV16
v4l2-compliance -m0 -s10 -e6 -f -a

and that too passed successfully.
