used to differentiate features? Why not call it

After you've done edac_mc_add_mc(), you need to do edac_mc_del_mc().
Look at how the other drivers do it and test your driver with
CONFIG_KASAN and CONFIG_DEBUG_TEST_DRIVER_REMOVE.
