I was curious, so I expanded out the kernel one. Here's the diff:

- (((addr)+((size)-1))&(~((typeof(addr))(size)-1)))
+ (((addr)+((typeof(addr))(size) - 1))&~((typeof(addr))(size)-1))

So it adds a cast, but aside from that it's the same.
