But the opposite also holds - the fact that we should not make everything VFIO doesn't imply prohibition on anyone from using it. There is a clear difference between passthrough and userspace DMA requirements in idxd context, and we see good reasons to use VFIO for our passthrough requirements. Thanks Kevin
