I'm sorry, I still don't understand what you mean.The latest code on the 
drm branch looks like this "struct drm_device *dev = priv->dev;"
If I change the dev of hibmc_drm_private to local variables, I won't be 
able to assign it like this "struct drm_device *dev = priv->dev;", right?
