Perhaps until the fixer is fixed, it'd be more
complete coverage to use checkpatch like:
$ git ls-files <path> | \
xargs ./scripts/checkpatch.pl -f --fix-inplace --types=unnecessary_modifier
e.g.:
$ git ls-files drivers/net/ethernet/amd/xgbe | \
xargs ./scripts/checkpatch.pl -f --fix-inplace --types=unnecessary_modifier
