I check this implementation. I am not a kernel expert (nor a kernel
dev) but I think that
one i2c device is allocated twice (one is provided via DTB, via the
reg property).
I can alloc all the devices on the driver (it is what I did before I
publish my patch set, and so
that was the aim of the for loop).

Yes I read the product brief and I know that this chip can do HPD. The
problem is that it is not working (so far) on my board.
Second point, my driver uses an "hdmi-connector" that does HPD and DDC
(for EDIDà for me (to avoid duplicating some code).
It's why I rely on the bridge (hdmi-connector) ops for my own ops.
