checkpatch already has --ignore=<list> and --types=<list>
for the various classes of messages it emits.
see: $ ./scripts/checkpatch.pl --list-types --verbose
Dwaipayan Ray (cc'd) is supposedly working on expanding
the verbose descriptions of each type.
