I am seeing other display issues as well. This might be it.

I couldn't find rc2. Checking out 
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable-rc.git 
linux-5.11.y

I will let you know the status of both 5.12.3 and 5.11.20 in a bit.
