Message-Id: <20210925114205.11377-1-len.baker@gmx.com> Date: Sat, 25 Sep 2021 13:42:05 +0200 From: Len Baker <len.baker@....com> To: Matthew Wilcox <willy@...radead.org>, Hannes Reinecke <hare@...e.com>, "James E.J. Bottomley" <jejb@...ux.ibm.com>, "Martin K. Petersen" <martin.petersen@...cle.com> Cc: Len Baker <len.baker@....com>, "Gustavo A. R. This could lead to values wrapping around and a smaller allocation being made than the caller was expecting. Using those allocations could lead to linear overflows of heap memory and other misbehaviors. So, use the struct_size() helper to do the arithmetic instead of the argument "size + count * size" in the kzalloc() function. This code was detected with the help of Coccinelle and audited and fixed manually.
