Thank you for following the existing convention in implementing these.
Even if it isn't perfect, it's good to remain consistent.
You use:
if (version <= IPA_VERSION_2_6L)
but then also define and use
if (IPA_VERSION_RANGE(version, 2_0, 2_6L))
And the only new IPA versions are 2_0, 2_5, and 2_6L.
I would stick with the former and don't define IPA_VERSION_RANGE().
Nothing less than IPA v2.0 (or 3.0 currently) is supported, so
"there is no version less than that."
Oh, and I noticed some local variables defined without the
"reverse Christmas tree order" which, like it or not, is the
convention used consistently throughout this driver.
I might quibble with a few other minor things in these definitions
but overall this looks fine.
