Never mind, applied. The problem was that your e-mail system adds
"mailto:" to all e-mail addresses. See above and in the patch.
Also, the actual patch was embedded in another e-mail frame which
confused git. After fixing that up, that the patch applied cleanly.
In the future, please make sure that your e-mail system leaves
any patches you send alone.
