Subject: Linux regressions report for mainline [2022-05-15]
Hi Linus! Find below a quick compilation of open reports about
regressions in 5.18-rc that I'm currently aware of.
There is WIP for most of them:
* the "clk/bcm2835 breaking raspi" is report and patch at the same time
that is more that two weeks old, but seems the maintainer hasn't picked
it up yet :-/
* for the "input/usb problem with bcm5974" there is a rough but already
tested patch in bugzilla
* didn't look closely at the "mm: [mm/page_alloc] f26b3fa046:
netperf.Throughput_Mbps -18.0% regression" thing, you were involved in
those discussions yourself
* for the "net: dpaa2" thing there is a patch in bugzilla that is
awaiting testing by the reporter
* for the intel graphics problem a patch was tested and discussed on the
list, but not yet heading towards you afaics
HTH, Ciao, Thorsten

Thanks for your attention, have a nice day!
Regzbot, your hard working Linux kernel regression tracking robot
P.S.: Wanna know more about regzbot or how to use it to track regressions
for your subsystem? Then check out the getting started guide or the
reference documentation:
https://gitlab.com/knurd42/regzbot/-/blob/main/docs/getting_started.md
https://gitlab.com/knurd42/regzbot/-/blob/main/docs/reference.md
The short version: if you see a regression report you want to see
tracked, just send a reply to the report where you Cc
regressions@...ts.linux.dev with a line like this:
#regzbot introduced: v5.13..v5.14-rc1
If you want to fix a tracked regression, just do what is expected
anyway: add a 'Link:' tag with the url to the report, e.g.:
Link: https://lore.kernel.org/all/30th.anniversary.repost@klaava.Helsinki.FI/
