Maybe
#include <linux/mod_devicetable.h>

for of_device_id

(maybe you can drop linux/device.h with this)

You use ARRAY_SIZE(ov4689_supply_names) in multiple places, maybe you
can define it (I know Sakari sometimes suggests against this, so if
you changed this because of his comment feel free to ignore mine, it's
not necessary to go back and forth).

Ah, I see quite some discussions on your previous version on this so
part..

The design is very weird, so I'm afraid modeling that in userspace
might result in an implementation quite specific for this sensor, and
even if libcamera has camera sensor helpers so far we have modeled
there "generic" gain models, something I'm afraid this is not.

Does the linearization work with the sensor gain format (0x3035 =
0x04) or the real gain format (0x3035 = 0x00) ?

Looking at your gain ranges you seem to map on the intervals of "real
gain format" according to the last plot you sent, but I see in the
driver 0x3035 being set to 0x04 at init time and not changed. Have I
missed that ?

Usually the minimum vertical blanking is smaller than the default you
have here calculated. Unfortunately is not always documented...

What is the purpose of this function ? It verifies that at least one
of the frequencies specified in dt matches one registered in the driver.
As long as you have a single frequency that's fine and you could
simplify this, as soon as you have more frequencies in the driver
should you make sure all of them are listed in dts ?

Or maybe you should just populate the list of driver's frequencies using
what comes from DTS ? Sakari what is your opinion here ?

Why EPROBE_DEFER ? The endpoint doesn't depend on the probing order
afaict, either it's there or not, and if it is not the DTS is
malformed. I would return -ENXIO or -EINVAL

This is only valid on ACPI afaict, and this driver depends on OF. I
would just make the clock mandatory and that's it.

But I see this has been suggested in previous review, so don't bother
with back and forth.

Any reason not to select this symbol ?

Same question really.

It's not wrong having it here, I just wonder if sensor driver should
have this ifdef dance or they can just select those symbols and that's
it. Any opinion from others ?
