Looks like a good idea. Will update copyright in v4.

I tried just dropping linux/device.h, and got no compile errors. Looks
like linux/mod_devicetable.h is included via linux/i2c.h. So what is
better: drop device.h and add mod_devicetable.h as you suggest, or just
drop device.h?

This was made this way in v3 following Sakari's suggestion, so leaving

This mapping uses [0x3503] = 0x4. Logical gain ranges (which are exposed
to userspace) are set up this way to satisfy two conditions: (1)
physical and logical gain are 1-to-1 mapping for 0x-2x range and (2)
observed gain is linear in logical gain. Logical gain ranges are mapped
to the ranges of physical (sensor) gain of approximately 128 units long
(except the first one, which is 256 units long). The tests I ran with
this driver show monotonic and almost linear gain from the userspace
perspective, so I believe that present mapping implementation is
correct.

In this driver we never use gain register values above 2047, so 0x3507
is always set to zero. This gives us analog gains up to 16x, which is
sufficient for typical use cases. If someone needs to extend gain range,
we could try to use greater register values, but that needs additional
research.

I've done some experiments with HTS and VTS, and when setting HTS to the
minimum working value (886), reducing VTS below 1554 resulted in stream
errors. So I'll prefer to stay on the safe side and leave minimum vblank
as is.

Before v3 I just compared the only link frequency we actually support to
the value from dts. This function was implemented per Sakari's
suggestion "Please instead compare with array entries" in [1].

Okay, will also remove dependency on OF in v4 as per Sakari's

Sakari suggest we should drop these, so will do it in v4.
