Yep. I've got access to a better system to test this just week, so I'm
got to test some theories as to why (nesting may require
trap-and-emulate for the IRQ enable/disable register?). If anyone has
some insights into why the save/restore lock variants would cause such a
perf hit, I'd love to hear it.
