It seems you intended to do this, but you didn't. There is no comment in the
backlight node.

nit: There is not need to spell out the comment and the exact location in
the change log, just saying "added a comment for the adjustment of the PWM
period to the backlight node" would be enough/preferable. The comment can be
found in the diff below.
