I left commenets beloew, but it's complicated code and a fairly large 
change. It there any chance of splitting this up in a meaningful way?

I complaint about the use of booleans before. Here is should be

and the shrink callback for drm_gem_lru_scan() should be changed to use 
errno codes as well. That's for a later patchset.
