Right, so if there is only one simultaneous user and you always lock
the registers after use, there should be no need for the "if
(starfive_wdt_is_locked(wdt))" checks. In fact you might even be able
to fold the spinlock into these functions to make sure you always take
the spinlock and unlock in the right order. Eg.:
