An atom indicates a minimum granularity event.
For example, an "irq_hander_entry" event of an IRQ whose irqnum==10 is 
an atom.

The prev member is used to store the sequence of events.
For example, the sequence of events is as follows:
raise -> entry -> exit

Then:
entry_atom->prev = raise_atom

This relationship needs to be saved because need to calculate latency
