we actually saw various issues for both parent and e0c2ff903c in vm boot tests
with a randcofig (the randconfig is same for parent and e0c2ff903c as in [1]),
some of them are very persistent for both commits, and some are very random.
the most obvious difference is about rcu_torture_fwd_prog_nr as above (a).
even when we run tests for both commits to 100 times, parent keeps clean,
but e0c2ff903c almost always show this issue.
frankly, I don't have enough knowledge to connect the commit change with this
issue, or to analyze its relation with other issues, so just report to you with
these data and dmesg (also in [1]) FYI.
if you need more data, log, or tests, please let me know. Thanks!
Hello,
kernel test robot noticed "WARNING:at_kernel/rcu/rcutorture.c:#rcu_torture_fwd_prog_nr" on:

[test failed on linux-next/master e143016b56ecb0fcda5bb6026b0a25fe55274f56]
in testcase: boot
compiler: gcc-12
test machine: qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -cpu SandyBridge -smp 2 -m 16G
(please refer to attached dmesg/kmsg for entire log/backtrace)
If you fix the issue in a separate patch/commit (i.e. not just a new version of
the same patch/commit), kindly add following tags
