Agreed. Everything is moved to cci calls, making the driver easier to
read especially for 16 bit registers (except for the one from Page3
(MIPI) which are sadly in LE format so I kept them in 8 bit for the time
being since I didn't find pretty to swap their value prior to calling
cci_write).

Indeed, hard to have a clear answer from the API doc. I think it makes
more sense to check if the code match is supported rather than what it
currently set. Don't you think ?

Ok, only kept the check again FORMAT_ACTIVE and removed the mode and

I got them described (at some level) in the doc I have. Had to confirm
with GalaxyCore it was alright to describe them in the driver. Now
there are more details in the v2.

I've checked that again. Datasheet I have mentioned 0us as minimum so I
removed delay between regu / powerdown and reset. However I've found
that the I2C device won't reply for the a long time after the sequence
so had to keep a rather long delay of 40ms at the very end otherwise i2c
communication is failing.

I removed the HBLANK control since RAW is no more supported. However
this trigs a crash within libcamera at following place:
int CameraSensor::init()
{
(...)
const ControlInfo hblank = ctrls.infoMap()->at(V4L2_CID_HBLANK);
const int32_t hblankMin = hblank.min().get<int32_t>();
const int32_t hblankMax = hblank.max().get<int32_t>();
if (hblankMin != hblankMax) {
ControlList ctrl(subdev_->controls());
ctrl.set(V4L2_CID_HBLANK, hblankMin);
ret = subdev_->setControls(&ctrl);
if (ret)
return ret;
}
If I understand it right, this crashs because the V4L2_CID_HBLANK ctrl
doesn't exist on this driver yet it tries to get a value from it.
