Could you please point me how it's handled?
In the patch I see just:

       if (qmp->submode == UFS_HS_G4)
               qmp_ufs_serdes_init(qmp, &cfg->tbls_hs_g4);
       else if (qmp->submode == UFS_HS_G5)
               qmp_ufs_serdes_init(qmp, &cfg->tbls_hs_g5);

Which looks like two special cases (HS_G4 and HS_G5) and nothing for
anything else.
