Subject: [PATCH] of: Less function calls in of_parse_phandle_with_args_map()
after error detection
From: Markus Elfring <elfring@...rs.sourceforge.net>
Date: Wed, 27 Dec 2023 21:21:41 +0100
The kfree() function was called in up to four cases by
the of_parse_phandle_with_args_map() function during error handling
even if the passed variable contained a null pointer.
This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.
* Adjust jump targets.
* Delete three initialisations which became unnecessary
with this refactoring.
