The patch is quite hard to review, I think it should be split into:
- convert all defines to ST7701_CMD
- split probe in two parts
- introduce spi
But then I would like to avoid depending on SPI & DSI, do you
thing it woudl be possible to have :
depend on SPI || DRM_MIPI_DSI
select DRM_MIPI_DBI if SPI
and only compile the DSI or SPI parts if the corresponding config is enabled ?
