Subject: [BUG] depmod: ERROR: Cycle detected: qcom_scm -> qcom_tzmem ->
 qcom_scm

Hi, all,

In the thread <9d1156b9-cdf1-44be-b65d-45b17c0b681e@...il.com>, the devm_qcom_tzmem_pool_new module build
with KCONFIG_SEED=0x44AB31A6 appeared.

  MODPOST Module.symvers
ERROR: modpost: "devm_qcom_tzmem_pool_new" [drivers/firmware/qcom/qcom-scm.ko] undefined!

The recommended fix by Bart was:

[1] [1] https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/qcom/linux.git/commit/?h=for-next&id=d96377892dd89bd4e7e5ae7293647f6bc7bddf7d

However, now we have something similar: though different, it seems to dal with "qcom":

  XZ      debian/linux-image-6.11.0-rc3-next-20240813-dirty/lib/modules/6.11.0-rc3-next-20240813-dirty/kernel/net/qrtr/qrtr-mhi.ko.xz
  DEPMOD  debian/linux-image-6.11.0-rc3-next-20240813-dirty/lib/modules/6.11.0-rc3-next-20240813-dirty
depmod: ERROR: Cycle detected: qcom_scm -> qcom_tzmem -> qcom_scm
depmod: ERROR: Found 2 modules in dependency cycles!

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Mirsad Todorovac
