I applied your patch to linux-next kernel and it works:
# ./perf test vfs
85: Add vfs_getname probe to get syscall args filenames : Ok
87: Use vfs_getname probe to get syscall args filenames : Ok

When I remove your patch the error shows up again:
# git reset --hard HEAD^
