Regarding the below, I think the above will always return somthing. I've never seen a blank product name. Unless this somehow errors?

But yes I wish there was a way to get the limits out of acpi. ASUS is normally good with this sort of thing but here it seems a bit shortsighted.
I will add some logging at least for some parts so there is awareness.
